The Peterborough Liftlock U11 Hockey Tournament Committee extends to you an invitation to our 63rd annual hockey tournament to be held Thursday, January 9^th through to Sunday, January 12th, 2024. This is an Ontario Minor Hockey Association-sanctioned tournament with both U10/U11 Rep and U10/U11 House League teams competing in various divisions. Only House League teams within 50km of Peterborough will be accepted.

All games will be played in local area arenas in the City and County of Peterborough. The action begins on Thursday, January 9^th  with local house league teams only.  
All other House League will be scheduled to start the tournament on Friday, January 12^th, 2024, and must plan to be available to play by 10:00 AM on that day. And don’t worry, we schedule teams from the farthest away to play later in the day.

Our tournament offers excellent competition between teams from the O.M.H.A., M.O.H.A., G.T.H.L., H.E.O. Minor, and N.O.H.A. hockey associations.

Our House League teams which are only within 50 Kms of the city will be comprised of three house league divisions. The other divisions will be created to make them as competitive as possible given the fact that all hockey associations are not created equal in House League. We take into consideration whether the team consists of major, minor, or mixed ages. We also consider the team’s standings in their league, if they keep standings, which a lot of areas do not. And we speak to coaches and convenors as much as possible. House League is not an exact science, however our Tournament has a very good record for creating competitive divisions.

Each team in our tournament is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games ( AAA 4 games) with the tournament concluding on Championship Sunday, with all championship games being played at the Peterborough Memorial Center, home of the Peterborough Petes Junior “A” OHL  Hockey Club.


The application will be considered complete only when it is received by the designated tournament official and a currently dated cheque or electronic payment is received. Applications will be recorded by date received and please appreciate, that it sometimes takes a while to determine the final numbers of teams in every division and the final schedule.    

Please come and be a part of this successful U10/U11 hockey tournament. We are one of the oldest and largest hockey tournaments in Canada, and for over 65 years the Peterborough Liftlock U11 Hockey Tournament has provided a venue for some very competitive and exciting U10/U11 hockey.
